At Elements Health & Fitness, we have a range of group fitness classes available each week for members and visitors in Ballarat. These include:


THE TRIP
THE TRIP™ is a fully immersive virtual cycle class experience that combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally-created worlds. THE TRIP takes motivation and energy output to the next level, burning serious calories.


Element Barre
Barre is a complete Barre Fitness class combining the best of Pilates, fitness and ballet. Using the Ballet Barre, resistance bands, hand weights and Pilates balls, it incorporates standing Pilates with cardio intervals, core work and functional exercises. This flowing class format creates a total body workout which is fun and easy to follow.

Body Balance
Body Balance is the Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.


Element FIT
Element FIT is a circuit-style class that is designed to enhance mobility, strength and stamina through functional movements. This class is all about working at your fitness level and has lots of variety. Using a mixture of weights, kettlebells, barbells and other functional equipment.


SPRINT
SPRINT is a cycle workout built on the science of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It’s a quick and intense style of training that returns rapid results with minimal joint impact. In just 30 minutes, SPRINT will challenge participant’s physical and mental limits. They’ll push through bursts of intensity working as hard as possible, then prepare for the next effort during short periods of rest. The payoff is the calorie burn for hours after stepping off the bike.

Element Box Circuit
Boxing – a fun and dynamic class that will teach you the art of boxing. It can mprove your fitness and help with your mindset. Boxing can also decrease stress. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.


RPM 
RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low impact and burns loads of calories. With great music pumping and the group riding as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly reach your cardio peak and then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.


Body Pump
Body Pump is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like Squats, Presses, Lifts and Curls. Get the results you came for and fast.

Yoga
Yoga is a wonderful practice to build strength and improve flexibility. It helps calm the mind and body. This class suits all levels and will be a mixture of Hatha yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga.


Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates offers a multitude of benefits. It enhances core strength, flexibility, and balance, promoting overall fitness. With customisable resistance levels, it suits all fitness levels and aids in injury rehabilitation. Improved posture, reduced stress, and heightened body awareness are additional perks, making it a holistic fitness choice.

Grit Strength
GRIT Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training workout that takes you into overdrive to go hard, superfast and get you fitter. The short, sharp and demanding exercises combine weightlifting, running and plyometrics for a full-body workout that increases aerobic capacity, strength, muscular endurance, metabolism and power.

Meditation
Meditation is not about trying to stop your thoughts, but by practising meditation, the thoughts will get fewer and fewer until you find that you can achieve a relaxed but yet aware state of being. We have over 50,000 thoughts every day and meditation is a way of entering into the quiet that is underneath these thoughts.


Meditation is known to help with many illnesses, including anxiety, stress and depression. It can improve your heart and sleep, assist in weight management, reduce tension and headaches and help lower blood pressure.

Yogalates
Yogalates is a class that incorporates yoga and pilates together for a great combination of stretching and mat pilates strength.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is the art of slowing down, receiving, yielding and relaxing in the present moment. You will embrace periods of stillness and silence giving your mind and nervous system a much much-needed chance to relax and rebalance.

Qi Gong
Secret Elements QI GONG—Ancient roots and modern knowledge of Kinesiology and Psychology are combined in Secret Elements Qi Gong. This is a system that can easily be learned and practised by everybody. The basic exercises can be performed standing, seated or lying down. It will help improve your body awareness and learn the ability to relax. It reaches deep into the field of self-healing and emotional balance.

Body Combat
Body Combat is an empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to release your inner warrior.

Immersive Sound Journey
60 Minutes of sound journey meditation. Using crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums and other vibrational instruments to take the body and spirit into an inner journey of sound and vibration. A wonderful way to end your week, relax and immerse yourself in the beautiful healing of sound.
